“Research Ethics Matters in Central Asia: One year of CARE” seminar

Central Asian Research Ethics (CARE) team is delighted to invite you to the seminar “Research Ethics Matters in Central Asia: One year of CARE” to mark the completion of the first year of the project. The seminar will provide presentations on understandings developed in each of the three country teams (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan). The researchers will share the results of their contextual and policy reviews on what ethical principles, protocols, and processes currently guide Social Science research in each of these Central Asian countries. Presentations will be followed by a discussion from Dr Mark Israel, a leading research ethics scholar and Senior Consultant with the Australasian Human Research Ethics Consultancy Services (AHRECS).
The seminar will be n Russian with the discussion section in English. Translation of discussion will be available.
