The Nazarbayev University Library’s Virtual Library InfoLit Race Challenge received the prestigious American Library Association (ALA) Presidential Citation for Innovative International Projects. The award was presented by American Library Association (ALA) President Julius C. The NU Library was among the five libraries to be given an award this year. The other awardees were: South Shore Public Libraries, Canada, Run Run Shaw Library, Hong Kong, Vancouver Island Regional Library, Canada, and Red River College Library, Canada.
The 3rd Library InfoLit Race Challenge was held by NU Library virtually in 2020 supported by the Student Government and sponsored by Clarivate Analytics.
