Students of Nazarbayev University won one silver and two bronze medals at the XXI International Mathematics Competition for University Students

During July 29 – August 5, 2014 students of Nazarbayev University participated at the XXI International Mathematics Competition for University Students held in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. 73 teams from 51 countries participated in this year’s competition.

International Mathematics Competition is one of the most prestigious competitions in mathematics among students. Brightest students from the best universities around the world, such as Moscow State University, University of Bonn, UCL, Goettingen University, etc come to the competition each year. Competition was held in two sessions, duration of each session was 5 hours. Our team won one silver and two bronze medals. Two of our students received honorable mentions.
