Important announcement for applicants of the Nazarbayev University Foundation Year Program on a fee-paying basis

Dear applicants,!

We inform you that the online application period has been extended until June 30, 2021. More details can be found at the link in the “Enrollment on a fee-paying basis” section.

Also, in connection with the cancellation of the international standardized SAT test in some test centers due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, as well as the lack of places to pass the test in other centers, the Admissions Committee decided to organize ALEKS PPL test for applicants who are not able to provide SAT/ACT certificate with a minimum passing score for the competition of the 2021-2022 academic year.

Applicants of the Program will take the ALEKS PPL test from July 2 to July 8, 2021. Detailed instruction and information for passing ALEKS PPL test will be sent closer to the test date to all applicants who completed an online application on the admissions.nu.edu.kz portal and did not provide SAT/ACT certificates with a minimum passing score.

Important:

  1. The results of applicants who passed ALEKS PPL in 2021 for undergraduate programs will also be considered for the Foundation Year Program on a fee-paying basis;
  2. In the competition results of only 1 type of the following tests will be considered: SAT / ACT / ALEKS PPL;
  3. The deadline for passing IELTS/TOEFL has been extended until June 30, 2021. Please be kindly reminded that the deadline for SAT/ACT test results submission is July 12, 2021, detailed instruction is available in Personal account.
