NU Open lab session at NU SMG
Increasing oil production effectively, cheap, and environmentally friendly is an essential target for petroleum engineers. How can experimental studies in labs help us achieve this target? How can we mimic fluid flow in oil reservoirs in labs? How can we design, develop, and apply a successful technique to enhance oil production? To answer these questions students of the School of Mining and Geosciences conduct different research activities in modern labs of Nazarbayev University.
You will have a chance to get answers to these questions on March 15 at 05:00 pm (GMT+6). Nazarbayev University School of Mining and Geosciences invites you to attend NU Open lab session by Dr. Peyman Pourafshary, Associate Professor in Petroleum Engineering of NU SMG, Coordinator of the Postgraduate Programs in Petroleum Engineering (MSc and PhD). During the session, participants will have a chance to look at NU laboratories and know more about researches conducted there.
The event will take place online via ZOOM. To attend the event, you will need to register in advance.
