Elbasy received the President of Nazarbayev University Shigeo Katsu

The main achievements of NU over the decade and the implementation of the strategy for the further development of the university were discussed during the meeting.

Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed that in a relatively short period of time, NU has become a leading educational institution that educates a new generation of professionals and contributes to the development of national science. The First President also focused on future projects of NU, specifically the opening of an AI Campus in Almaty.

President of Nazarbayev University Shigeo Katsu presented information on the achievement of key indicators of the University’s Strategy for 2018-2030. According to Mr. Katsu, in terms of the quality of scientific research (citation index), Nazarbayev University entered the TOP-10 universities in the Eurasian region.
