Nazarbayev University signed a memorandum of cooperation with Hamad bin Khalifa University

Nazarbayev University signed a memorandum of cooperation with the leading Qatari higher education institution – Hamad bin Khalifa University. The negotiations started in support of the development of educational and cultural ties between the two countries through the Inter-Governmental Committee back in 2020. The parties identified the main areas of cooperation between the two universities such as support of academic and research activities, joint scientific projects of mutual interest, strengthening professional development, student and faculty exchange, and other promising areas for development.  

Hamad bin Khalifa University is also a young public university established in 2010 and located within Education City in Doha, the capital city of Qatar. It was named after Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, former Emir of Qatar. The university offers an array of research focused graduate programs in areas such as Information and Computing technologies, life sciences, sustainable development, Islamic studies, Islamic finance, Middle Eastern studies, translation studies, and law.
