Joint Youth Forum of Nazarbayev University and Tsinghua University was held online

On July 2, a joint youth forum of Nazarbayev University and Tsinghua University was held online. Participants were invited to discuss the topic of academic integrity as an indispensable part of sustainability competence.

Academic integrity is about adhering to the principles of truthfulness, trust, respect, fairness and, most of all, responsibility.

The Forum participants discussed the academic rules and integrity principles of their Universities, and also exchanged experience of observing ethical principles in their work.

Dr. Loretta O’Donnell, NU Vice-Provost for Academic Affairs, Zarina Baidalinova, President of the NU Student Government, and Inkar Bakhetiner, NU Graduate in Civil Engineering represented Nazarbayev University at the Forum as speakers.
