NU Alumni and Students online forum took place at Nazarbayev University
By 2030, Nazarbayev University will be a part of a balanced ecosystem focused on human capital and digital technologies. This vision of the university’s future was shared by the President of Nazarbayev University Shigeo Katsu during the NU Alumni and Students Forum.
The online event has become an opportunity to reflect on the path the University went through over the decade from the day it was founded and a platform to discuss its future plans. In his welcoming speech, the President of Nazarbayev University Shigeo Katsu emphasized the invaluable contribution of the founder of the university Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev.
“It represents the bold gamble of the First President and his legacy. In just ten years our University turned into almost a conglomerate. It again demonstrates a lasting commitment and grand vision of our Founder. He pushed us into something that is much bigger than just a University – said Shigeo Katsu.
The number of Nazarbayev University graduates is approaching 6 thousand people. Today they tirelessly work on realizing their potential in various fields, both in Kazakhstan and abroad. NU graduates work as teachers, doctors, civil servants, engineers, scientists, inventors, and entrepreneurs. They are competitive, ambitious, motivated, but most importantly, they work hard every day for the good of the country.
